Sliding doors
A low-poly automatic entrance for a supermarket: two framed dark-glass leaves with a green stripe slide apart behind fixed glass sidelights, under a white header with a green brand band and a motion sensor. A ribbed wooden entrance mat lies in front, and the doors play a seamless 8-second open-and-close loop.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Sliding doors for the Supermarket kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Supermarket kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A full grocery store interior. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, fresh green #3a883a, red #c32222, light wood #ac7d53, white dark #d7cebc, fresh green dark #235223, white light #f9f8f6, fresh green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `brandColours` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Brand colours" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 4.64 m wide (4.56 m at the threshold), 2.68 m tall and 1.25 m deep including the 0.95 m entrance mat, with a 2.0 m clear opening and 2.1 m leaves. The origin is the bottom centre of the threshold, which rests on y = 0, and the car-park side faces +Z; the leaves run on a track behind the fixed sidelights. The GLB holds one baked 8 s clip, 'scene-motion': the leaves finish opening, hold open, close, hold closed and start opening again. Each leaf's origin sits on its nose at the track centreline, so the motion is a pure X translation; the threshold, mat, frame and header never move. The rest pose (and preview) shows the leaves half open. The model has 938 triangles in 25 meshes and no textures. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and all 12 colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name repeats across materials: recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. brandColours (the kit's 'Brand colours') sets the depth of the green brand band on the header, adds a red pinstripe from 0.5 up, and turns the leaf stripes from white light to fresh green above 0.25; openAmount scales how far the baked clip opens the leaves. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 advisory warnings (per-mesh duplicate materials and material count, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, deliberate nesting of panels between the posts and of the mat inside its border, and height above the 1 m reference). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; three-check accepts those ids and all 6 survive the GLB reload.
About the Sliding doors 3D model
Sliding doors is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Supermarket set. It measures 4.6 m × 2.7 m × 1.3 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 648 triangles across 23 meshes, with 6 named parts and a baked animation (8.0 s). Download the 75 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Sliding doors 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 75 KB: 648 triangles, 1,944 vertices and 23 materials, modelled in metres at 4.6 m × 2.7 m × 1.3 m.
- Is Sliding doors animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (8.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Sliding doors 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
