Secret door front
A low-poly 1920s speakeasy entrance for the Speakeasy kit: a panelled dark-wood door set deep in a black-cased alley wall, with a gold sliding peephole glowing red, an emerald transom, a stone step, a wall lantern and a red bell push.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Secret door front for the Speakeasy kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Speakeasy kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A hidden jazz club in the 1920s. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: black #151619, gold #d0a225, emerald #248f59, velvet red #c32222, black dark #090a0b, gold dark #8f7019, black light #3a3c40, gold light #debd63, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `luxuryLevel` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Luxury level" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 2.4 m wide, 3.0 m tall and about 0.66 m deep, from the wall back to the front edge of the step. The wall is 0.30 m thick. The clear door opening is 0.96 × 2.12 m, with a 0.32 m emerald transom above it, and the step is 0.16 m high. Origin: bottom centre, resting on y = 0, front facing +Z. The GLB has 944 triangles in 21 meshes (merged per part and colour), with flat normals (non-indexed) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a Speakeasy kit palette colour, and all 12 kit colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so some names repeat; recolour by name. The lantern glass (warm white) and the peephole glow (velvet red) carry a little emission. luxuryLevel (the kit's 'Luxury level') changes the door furniture: below 0.5 the panel beading and transom muntins are black and the knobs and kick plate are gold dark; from 0.5 up they are gold. A gilded strip under the casing head appears from 0.25 up (gold dark below 0.5). The transom muntin count goes from 1 to 5, and the kick plate height from 0.10 m to 0.24 m. doorOpen swings the leaf inward (up to 95°) about its left hinge. The doorway is open through the wall, so with the door open you see straight through; there is no interior. peepOpen slides the peephole cover to the right, behind the frame. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults (door closed, peephole 65 % open) and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. The pale floor in the preview is viewer staging and is not in the GLB. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings, all expected: more than 10 materials and duplicate names (one material per mesh), non-indexed flat shading, overlapping sibling boxes (nested wall, plinth and reveal), and a 3 m height against its generic 1 m reference. plan-check rejects the hyphenated slug part ids this library requires, because of its part-id regex. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes (one warning). three-check accepts the hyphenated ids, and all 10 planned ids survive the GLB reload. Fix round 1: shortened the kick plate, which dominated the foot of the door.
About the Secret door front 3D model
Secret door front is a free low-poly 3D model from the Speakeasy set. It measures 2.6 m × 3.0 m × 74 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 944 triangles across 21 meshes, with 17 named parts. Download the 86 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Secret door front 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 86 KB: 944 triangles, 2,832 vertices and 21 materials, modelled in metres at 2.6 m × 3.0 m × 74 cm.
- Can I animate Secret door front?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 17 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Secret door front 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
