Bottle shelves
A low-poly 1920s speakeasy back-bar bottle unit: a dark-wood base cabinet with velvet-red doors, and above it a gold-framed mirror case whose gold-lipped shelves are lined with emerald, red, gold and white bottles, under a stepped art deco crest with a gold sunburst.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Bottle shelves for the Speakeasy kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Speakeasy kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A hidden jazz club in the 1920s. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: black #151619, gold #d0a225, emerald #248f59, velvet red #c32222, black dark #090a0b, gold dark #8f7019, black light #3a3c40, gold light #debd63, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `luxuryLevel` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Luxury level" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at the defaults: 1.59 m wide × 0.46 m deep × 2.44 m tall (body 1.5 × 0.4 m; the cornice and door pulls overhang). The base cabinet is 0.88 m high; the upper case is set back 0.1 m so the cabinet top forms a bottle ledge, its three shelves sit 0.3 m apart, and the sunburst crest tops out at 2.44 m. The origin is the bottom centre of the footprint, resting on y = 0, and the front faces +Z. The GLB has 4,568 triangles in 27 meshes (one per part and colour) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour; 11 of the 12 kit colours are used (mid grey is not). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on several materials: recolour by name. luxuryLevel (the kit's 'Luxury level') adds gold in steps: below 0.25 the shelf lips, mirror frame and edges are gold dark; from 0.5 gold inlays run down the pilasters and the sunburst turns gold and gold dark (gold dark and dark wood below); from 0.75 gold diamonds sit on the doors and the crest steps get gold caps. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Both extremes passed three-check: 5,672 triangles at the maximum width, shelves, stock and luxury (bottle spacing widens automatically past about 120 slots to stay inside the 6k budget), and about 1,550 at the minimums. Bottle stocking is seeded, so it is deterministic. Bottle bodies are open tubes whose bottoms sit 6 mm into the shelf, so a bottle seen from directly below its shelf shows no base cap. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic or direction warnings (27 materials against the direction's soft default of 10, duplicate materials per mesh, non-indexed primitives because flat shading is baked in on purpose, intentional nesting of trim inside panels, and the 2.44 m height against its generic 1 m reference). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphen in the slug-based ids this library requires; a de-hyphenated copy passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 6 survive the GLB reload.
About the Bottle shelves 3D model
Bottle shelves is a free low-poly 3D model from the Speakeasy set. It measures 1.6 m × 2.4 m × 46 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,568 triangles across 27 meshes, with 6 named parts. Download the 343 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Bottle shelves 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 343 KB: 4,568 triangles, 13,704 vertices and 27 materials, modelled in metres at 1.6 m × 2.4 m × 46 cm.
- Can I animate Bottle shelves?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 6 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Bottle shelves 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
