Bar

A low-poly 1920s speakeasy bar: a panelled dark-wood counter with a black top, gold edge and brass foot rail, with banker's lamps and cocktail coupes on top. Behind the staff walkway stands a back bar with a cash register, a pilastered mirror wall lined with jewel-coloured bottles and a stepped art deco crest topped by a gold sunburst.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Bar for the Speakeasy kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Speakeasy kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A hidden jazz club in the 1920s. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: black #151619, gold #d0a225, emerald #248f59, velvet red #c32222, black dark #090a0b, gold dark #8f7019, black light #3a3c40, gold light #debd63, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `luxuryLevel` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Luxury level" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at the defaults: 3.13 m wide × 2.30 m deep × 3.14 m tall. The counter is 1.07 m high and 0.6 m deep, with a 0.95 m staff walkway behind it. The back bar is 0.95 m high, its mirror wall reaches 2.4 m, the stepped crest reaches 2.83 m and the sunburst tops out at 3.14 m. The origin is the bottom centre of the footprint, resting on y = 0, and the customer side faces +Z. The GLB has 4,788 triangles in 44 meshes (one per part and colour) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and all 12 colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. luxuryLevel (the kit's 'Luxury level') adds gold in steps: below 0.25 the edges are gold dark and the counter band is black light; from 0.25 the counter edge, band, mirror frames and shelf lips are gold; from 0.5 gold inlays run down the counter pilasters and the sunburst turns gold and gold dark (dark wood and gold dark below 0.5); from 0.75 gold diamonds sit on the counter panels and gold caps top the crest steps. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Both extremes rendered and passed three-check: 9,364 triangles at maximum length, shelves, stock and luxury, and 2,124 at the minimums. Bottle stocking is seeded, so it is deterministic. Bottle bodies are open tubes whose bottoms sit 6 mm into the shelf; a bottle viewed from directly underneath its shelf would show no base cap. No stools are included (they are a separate kit piece). glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic or direction warnings: 44 materials against the direction's soft default of 10 (one per mesh, sharing 12 palette names), duplicate materials per mesh, non-indexed primitives (flat shading baked in on purpose), intentional nesting of trim inside panels, and the 3.14 m height against its generic 1 m reference. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphen in the slug-based ids this library requires; a de-hyphenated copy passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 10 survive the GLB reload.

About the Bar 3D model

Bar is a free low-poly 3D model from the Speakeasy set. It measures 3.1 m × 3.1 m × 2.3 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,788 triangles across 44 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 373 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Bar 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 373 KB: 4,788 triangles, 14,364 vertices and 44 materials, modelled in metres at 3.1 m × 3.1 m × 2.3 m.
Can I animate Bar?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Bar 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
