Reach stacker
A low-poly yellow port reach stacker holding a 20 ft container on its twistlock spreader, for the Shipping Port kit. Its telescopic boom is hinged over the rear counterweight, and a baked 8-second loop lifts the container while the spreader stays level.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Reach stacker for the Shipping Port kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Shipping Port kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Containers, cranes and salt air. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: container colours #988e81, steel grey #757e8a, sea blue #2e67b8, yellow #eecd2b, container colours dark #70685c, steel grey dark #525860, container colours light #b6b3af, steel grey light #a3a5a8, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `containerColoursAndLogos` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Container colours and logos" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Rest-pose size: 10.52 m long (z) × 6.06 m wide (x, the 20 ft container held across the front; the machine itself is 4.3 m wide) × 6.41 m tall (boom head). The wheelbase is 5.4 m on 1.6 m tyres, the boom heel pin is 3.7 m up, and the 6.06 × 2.44 × 2.59 m ISO container hangs 1.58 m off the ground at rest. The spreader faces +Z. The origin is the bottom centre of the rest-pose footprint, and the tyre facets rest on y = 0. The GLB has 2,044 triangles in 37 meshes, one mesh per part and colour. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour. The 8 s clip 'scene-motion' loops seamlessly from t = 0 (rest, boom at 16°): the boom rises 8° about its heel pin and the inner boom telescopes out 1 m. Each lift cylinder swivels at its frame foot pin while its rod slides to stay on the boom lug pin, the spreader head counter-rotates on its yoke pin so the container stays level, and the cab beacon spins on its axis. The frame, cab and wheels never move. The GLB's static node transforms hold a mid-clip frame, not the rest pose (lint bounds reach 7.19 m), so play or seek the clip to t = 0 for the rest pose. containerColoursAndLogos (the kit's 'Container colours and logos') sets the container colour: container colours, container colours dark, sea blue (the default at 0.5), steel grey light, then container colours light. No logos are modelled, because the library forbids them. With carryContainer = 0 the spreader hangs empty and the knob has no visible effect. liftSwing and telescopeStroke set the loop's amplitudes. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the model only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the default build was rendered and checked; the param extremes were not. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 heuristic warnings, all expected: one material per mesh, so there are duplicate material entries; non-indexed flat shading; intended nesting (the inner boom inside the outer boom, axles inside the frame); 'detached' parts, because each part is one merged mesh; and a height above the 1 m reference. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its id regex allows no hyphen. The same plan passes with the slug de-hyphenated. three-check and the GLB keep all 19 ids.
About the Reach stacker 3D model
Reach stacker is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Shipping Port set. It measures 6.1 m × 7.2 m × 11 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,044 triangles across 37 meshes, with 19 named parts and a baked animation (8.0 s). Download the 218 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Reach stacker 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 218 KB: 2,044 triangles, 6,132 vertices and 37 materials, modelled in metres at 6.1 m × 7.2 m × 11 m.
- Is Reach stacker animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (8.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Reach stacker 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
