Parts store
A low-poly factory parts store: a steel pallet rack with orange beams, lined with blue and orange picking bins full of robot heads, gears and lenses, with wooden crates on top. A white service counter in front holds a terminal and a tray of parts waiting for pickup.

Left rail: colours and the 3 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Parts store for the Robot Factory kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Robot Factory kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A clean line that builds robots. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, light grey #a3a5a8, electric blue #136dec, orange #ed7e1d, white dark #d7cebc, light grey dark #7c7f83, white light #f9f8f6, light grey light #cccccc, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `lineSpeed` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Line speed" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the default store is 4.12 m wide, 1.98 m deep and 3.0 m tall to the top of the beacon. It has three 1.2 m rack bays with shelves at 0.6 m pitch, and the counter is 0.95 m high. The origin is the bottom centre of the footprint, the plinth rests on y = 0 and the counter faces +Z. The GLB has 5,460 triangles across 37 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. 11 of the 12 kit colours are used; white light is not. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. bays and levels resize the rack, staying under 8,500 triangles at their maximums. lineSpeed (the kit's 'Line speed') animates nothing because the asset is static. It sets how hard the line draws on the store: higher values drain the bins (stock levels are seeded) and queue more parts on the counter tray. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings. Two cover the material count, both from the per-mesh materials. The others flag deliberate nesting (parts in bins), bins resting on the rack's decks, and the height compared with the direction's 1 m reference. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. three-check accepts those ids, and all 8 survive the GLB reload.
About the Parts store 3D model
Parts store is a free low-poly 3D model from the Robot Factory set. It measures 4.1 m × 3.0 m × 2.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 5,460 triangles across 37 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 281 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Parts store 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 281 KB: 5,460 triangles, 9,030 vertices and 37 materials, modelled in metres at 4.1 m × 3.0 m × 2.0 m.
- Can I animate Parts store?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Parts store 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
