Control booth
A low-poly robot-factory control booth: a white cabin raised on a steel deck with an outward-leaning electric-blue window band, orange handrails and a side stair. A wall panel by the door carries a line-speed gauge and throttle lever, and the roof has an AC unit and a signal stack light.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Control booth for the Robot Factory kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Robot Factory kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A clean line that builds robots. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, light grey #a3a5a8, electric blue #136dec, orange #ed7e1d, white dark #d7cebc, light grey dark #7c7f83, white light #f9f8f6, light grey light #cccccc, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `lineSpeed` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Line speed" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 4.17 m wide × 4.53 m tall (top of the signal stack; roof slab at about 3.9 m) × 4.83 m deep including the rear stair. The 3.0 × 2.5 m cabin stands on a 4.0 × 3.2 m steel deck 1.2 m above the floor. Origin at the bottom centre of the whole footprint, base plates and stair foot on y = 0, window band facing +Z; the door, walkway and line-speed panel are on the +X side and the stair runs down the back. 1476 triangles, 33 meshes (merged per part and colour), no animation clip. Materials are named exactly after kit palette colours (11 of 12 used; dark wood is not used). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. Window glass is opaque flat colour; there is no interior. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change geometry only when the scene is rebuilt. lineSpeed (kit 'Line speed') sets the gauge needle (sweeps 240°) and the throttle lever angle on the wall panel; nothing animates. glb-lint: 0 errors, 5 heuristic warnings: material count and duplicate materials from per-mesh materials; nested overlaps where stripes, skirt and panes are deliberately embedded; the signal stack flagged as 'detached' because it sits on the roof, which is a separate part group; and height vs the direction's 1 m reference. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; three-check accepts those ids and all 10 survive the GLB reload.
About the Control booth 3D model
Control booth is a free low-poly 3D model from the Robot Factory set. It measures 4.2 m × 4.5 m × 4.8 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,476 triangles across 33 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 102 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Control booth 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 102 KB: 1,476 triangles, 2,577 vertices and 33 materials, modelled in metres at 4.2 m × 4.5 m × 4.8 m.
- Can I animate Control booth?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Control booth 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
