How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Notice boards for the Police Station kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Police Station kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Front desk to holding cells. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: navy #1c2a54, grey #757e8a, pale blue #7e9fce, steel #7e8c9a, navy dark #090d1b, grey dark #525860, navy light #344989, grey light #a3a5a8, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `countryStyling` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Country styling" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Default build is 2.0 m wide x 0.6 m deep (feet) x 1.92 m tall; the felt board is 1.84 x 0.9 m with its bottom at 0.82 m. Front faces +Z, origin at bottom centre on y = 0. Static: no animation clip. 2,090 triangles in the GLB at defaults (about 3,700 at the heaviest settings: 3 panels, 1.1 m board, full density). Double-sided: both faces carry a different seeded layout of notices. Print lines, photo blocks and header chequers are single-sided quads lying 1.5 mm proud of their paper or band, so they are not visible from behind the sheet. Materials are named exactly after the Police Station kit palette colours; only 7 are used at defaults, and the GLB holds one material instance per colour per part (same name and values). countryStyling sets the board finish: steel frame on charcoal felt (< 0.33), dark wood frame and posts on navy-light felt (default), pale aluminium frame on pale blue felt (> 0.66). Params are build-time: the GLB holds the default build. No text: notices carry abstract bars and blank photo blocks. plan-check rejects the hyphenated slug in parent ids, so the plan was verified on a de-hyphenated copy (PASS); three-check accepts the real ids. glb-lint: 0 errors, verdict UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract is supplied.

About the Notice boards 3D model

Notice boards is a free low-poly 3D model from the Police Station set. It measures 2.1 m × 1.9 m × 67 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,090 triangles across 19 meshes, with 6 named parts. Download the 164 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Notice boards 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 164 KB: 2,090 triangles, 6,270 vertices and 19 materials, modelled in metres at 2.1 m × 1.9 m × 67 cm.
Can I animate Notice boards?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 6 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Notice boards 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
