Files
A low-poly four-drawer steel filing cabinet for police records, with the top drawer pulled out to show a row of hanging case files and a stack of case folders and an archive box on top.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Files for the Police Station kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Police Station kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Front desk to holding cells. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: navy #1c2a54, grey #757e8a, pale blue #7e9fce, steel #7e8c9a, navy dark #090d1b, grey dark #525860, navy light #344989, grey light #a3a5a8, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `countryStyling` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Country styling" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Cabinet is 0.47 m wide x 0.62 m deep x 1.32 m tall; 1.52 m to the archive-box lid. Drawer fronts face +Z, origin at bottom centre on y = 0. Static: no animation clip. 1,532 triangles in the GLB at defaults. Materials are named exactly after the Police Station kit palette colours (dark wood and grey are listed for the kit but unused at the defaults); the GLB holds several material instances per colour (one per part), all sharing the same name and values. countryStyling sets the cabinet finish: grey light with dark bar pulls (< 0.33), steel with dark cup pulls (default), navy light with steel bar pulls (> 0.66). The top drawer is its own node (police-station-files.drawer, folders nested inside) so it can be slid along +Z in an engine. Params are build-time: the GLB holds the default build. Label cards are blank. plan-check rejects the hyphenated slug in parent ids, so the plan was verified on a de-hyphenated copy (PASS); three-check accepts the real ids. glb-lint: 0 errors, verdict UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract is supplied.
About the Files 3D model
Files is a free low-poly 3D model from the Police Station set. It measures 48 cm × 1.5 m × 95 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,532 triangles across 24 meshes, with 6 named parts. Download the 128 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Files 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 128 KB: 1,532 triangles, 4,596 vertices and 24 materials, modelled in metres at 48 cm × 1.5 m × 95 cm.
- Can I animate Files?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 6 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Files 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
