Potting room
A low-poly greenhouse potting room corner: white-barred glazed walls on a dwarf wall around a wooden potting bench with a soil tray, seed tray and terracotta pots, a wall shelf of small plants, a big leafy floor plant, spare pot stacks, a compost sack and a blue watering can.

Left rail: colours and the 3 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Potting room for the Plant Shop and Greenhouse kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Plant Shop and Greenhouse kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Glass, humidity and green. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: leaf green #3a883a, glass blue #2e67b8, terracotta #be5937, white #f4f1ec, leaf green dark #235223, glass blue dark #1f457a, leaf green light #5db15d, glass blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `plantMix` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Plant mix" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 2.6 m wide (x), 1.8 m deep (z) and 2.4 m tall. The origin is at the bottom centre on y = 0 and the front faces +Z. It is an open cutaway corner: glazed walls on the back (z = −0.9) and left (x = −1.3) only, with no roof and no front or right wall. The glasshouse frame is a separate kit part. plantMix sets how many of the 11 default pots (floor, bench and shelf) hold plants: 1 + round(plantMix × (n − 1)). At 0 only the big floor plant remains; the other pots show bare soil. benchLength runs from 1.4 to 2.3 m. The bench grows to the right, and its row of pots grows with it (1 to 6 pots), so the total pot count changes too. potStack sets how many nested spare pots are in the floor stack (1 to 8). All three param extremes were rendered and passed three-check. 3,216 triangles, counted from the GLB. three-check reports about 3,530 because it also counts the viewer staging ground, which is not exported. Static: no animation clip. The glass panes use a translucent (BLEND, double-sided) material named "glass blue light". Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour. three.js's exporter writes one material per mesh, so names repeat. plan-check's part-id pattern rejects the hyphenated slug ids the brief requires. The plan passed plan-check with the hyphens removed and is otherwise unchanged. glb-lint: 0 errors. It warns about non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, overlapping sibling boxes (glass inside its bars, nested pots), contact heuristics on resting parts, and a 2.4 m height against its 1 m default reference.
About the Potting room 3D model
Potting room is a free low-poly 3D model from the Plant Shop and Greenhouse set. It measures 2.6 m × 2.4 m × 1.8 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,216 triangles across 24 meshes, with 32 named parts. Download the 249 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Potting room 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 249 KB: 3,216 triangles, 9,648 vertices and 24 materials, modelled in metres at 2.6 m × 2.4 m × 1.8 m.
- Can I animate Potting room?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 32 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Potting room 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
