Glasshouse frame
A low-poly plant-shop glasshouse: a white-framed gable glasshouse on a terracotta knee wall, with dark blue ridge cresting and finials, two roof vents propped open, a blue glazed door, and wooden staging benches of terracotta pots and green plants inside.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Glasshouse frame for the Plant Shop and Greenhouse kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Plant Shop and Greenhouse kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Glass, humidity and green. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: leaf green #3a883a, glass blue #2e67b8, terracotta #be5937, white #f4f1ec, leaf green dark #235223, glass blue dark #1f457a, leaf green light #5db15d, glass blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `plantMix` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Plant mix" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at the defaults: 3.2 m wide across the terracotta knee wall (3.34 m including the gutters) and 4.0 m long. The eaves are at 2.0 m, the ridge at about 3.05 m, and the finial tips at 3.55 m. The origin is at the bottom centre of the footprint, the model rests on y = 0, and the door gable faces +Z. The GLB has 6,724 triangles and is static, with no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and all 12 colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. The glass is glass blue light at 28% opacity with alpha blending. Some engines sort transparent surfaces differently, which can change how the glass layers look. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. plantMix (the kit's 'Plant mix') sets which bench-top pots are planted, using a seeded ranking so raising it only adds plants: from about 20% at 0 to all of them at 1. It also scales plant size and the palm's height. The lower-shelf pots stay unplanted. length sets 3 to 6 one-metre bays, eaveHeight runs from 1.8 to 2.4 m, and ventOpen lifts the two roof lights from 0 to 40 degrees. Only the default params were rendered and checked; the extremes were not captured. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 6 warnings. Two come from the per-mesh materials (material count and duplicate material sets). One flags non-indexed geometry, which is deliberate flat shading. One flags nested overlaps in the base (the floor and aisle sit inside the wall). One flags the cresting, glass and door handle as 'detached', though each rests on the frame or door. One flags the 3.55 m height against a generic 1 m reference. The verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; with the ids substituted it passes. three-check accepts the real ids, and all 11 survive the GLB reload. The three fix rounds were all visual: hero framing and the palm crown.
About the Glasshouse frame 3D model
Glasshouse frame is a free low-poly 3D model from the Plant Shop and Greenhouse set. It measures 3.3 m × 3.6 m × 4.1 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 6,724 triangles across 24 meshes, with 11 named parts. Download the 494 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Glasshouse frame 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 494 KB: 6,724 triangles, 20,172 vertices and 24 materials, modelled in metres at 3.3 m × 3.6 m × 4.1 m.
- Can I animate Glasshouse frame?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 11 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Glasshouse frame 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
