Lift
A low-poly museum scissor lift: a red wheeled chassis, a two-stage slate scissor with a hydraulic ram, and a brass-railed platform with a wooden deck. It ships with a seamless 10 s loop that raises and lowers the platform.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Lift for the Museum kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Museum kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Quiet halls of old things. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: marble white #f4f1ec, deep red #861313, brass #b28c34, slate #525e6f, marble white dark #d7cebc, deep red dark #430a0a, marble white light #f9f8f6, deep red light #c32222, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `collectionTheme` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Collection theme" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 1.88 m long (rear step to front bumper), 0.87 m wide across the tyres and 1.84 m tall stowed to the top of the control lever (guardrail top at 1.80 m). At the top of the loop the deck is 2.28 m off the floor and the whole lift is 3.34 m tall. The origin is at the bottom centre, the four tyres rest flat on y = 0, and the control box end faces +Z. The GLB has 1,444 triangles. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The runtime's exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials (27 in total, 9 distinct colours at the default theme). Recolour by name. The baked clip 'scene-motion' (10 s, seamless) raises and lowers the platform with a pause at the top and bottom. Each scissor arm pair rotates about its own pin: rear pins stay fixed and the front ends roll. The ram barrel swings on its chassis pin while the rod slides along it, and the platform only moves vertically. The chassis, step and wheels never move. The GLB's static (unanimated) node pose is the near-top pose, because the export was taken after the checker's t = 2 s seek. Play the clip, or seek to 0 s, for the half-raised pose shown in the preview. Params are baked at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. collectionTheme (the kit's 'Collection theme') picks the livery: below 0.33 it is slate with a mid-grey scissor, 0.33–0.67 (default) is deep red with a slate scissor, and above 0.67 it is marble white with a slate scissor. Only the default params were rendered and checked. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 6 warnings. Two come from the per-mesh materials (material count and duplicates). One flags non-indexed geometry, which is deliberate flat shading. One flags overlaps where trim, hubs and pins are nested on purpose. One flags the ram and platform as 'detached' because they hang off pins rather than touching a sibling box. One flags the height against a generic 1 m reference. The verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphen in the slug-based ids this library requires; with the ids substituted it passes. three-check accepts the real ids, and all 18 survive the GLB reload.
About the Lift 3D model
Lift is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Museum set. It measures 88 cm × 3.3 m × 1.9 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,444 triangles across 27 meshes, with 18 named parts and a baked animation (10.0 s). Download the 219 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Lift 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 219 KB: 1,444 triangles, 4,332 vertices and 27 materials, modelled in metres at 88 cm × 3.3 m × 1.9 m.
- Is Lift animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (10.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Lift 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
