Labels
A low-poly freestanding museum exhibit label: a slanted dark-wood reading desk on a slate post and stepped base, carrying a brass-framed label card with a deep red title band, a picture block and rows of text lines.

Left rail: colours and the 5 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Labels for the Museum kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Museum kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Quiet halls of old things. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: marble white #f4f1ec, deep red #861313, brass #b28c34, slate #525e6f, marble white dark #d7cebc, deep red dark #430a0a, marble white light #f9f8f6, deep red light #c32222, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `collectionTheme` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Collection theme" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 0.50 m wide across the desk head, 1.05 m tall to the back edge of the sloped desk, 0.34 m deep (foot plate 0.34 x 0.28 m). The origin is at the bottom centre, the foot plate rests flat on y = 0, and the sloped label face tilts up toward +Z. The GLB has 264 triangles and no animation clip: this is a static piece. The card's content is modelled geometry, not text. The title band, picture block and dark text-line bars are thin raised solids, and the seal is a 10-facet brass disc. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The runtime's exporter writes one material per mesh, so the GLB has 19 material slots carrying 7 palette names. Recolour by name. collectionTheme (the kit's 'Collection theme') sets the label livery. Below 0.33 is modern: a marble white light card, slate title band and mid grey picture. 0.33 to 0.67 (default) is classic: a warm white card, deep red band and mid grey picture. Above 0.67 is antiquities: a marble white dark card, deep red dark band and slate picture. All params are baked at their defaults in the GLB and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. Part ids drop the hyphen (museumlabels.*) because the kit's part-id rule rejects hyphens. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 4 heuristic warnings. Two come from the per-mesh duplicate materials. One flags the card content seated 0.5 mm into the card sheet, which is deliberate. One flags parts as 'detached' because they sit on a sloped face rather than touching a sibling box. Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied.
About the Labels 3D model
Labels is a free low-poly 3D model from the Museum set. It measures 50 cm × 1.1 m × 28 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 264 triangles across 19 meshes, with 12 named parts. Download the 42 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Labels 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 42 KB: 264 triangles, 516 vertices and 19 materials, modelled in metres at 50 cm × 1.1 m × 28 cm.
- Can I animate Labels?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 12 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Labels 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
