Mixer

A low-poly tilt-head stand mixer with a steel bowl, side speed lever and a planetary flat beater. Its 6 s loop flicks the lever on, orbits and spins the beater in the bowl, then runs down to rest.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Mixer for the Kitchen kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Kitchen kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A full working kitchen. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: tile white #f4f1ec, steel #7e8c9a, butcher-block wood #7d5736, tomato red #c32222, tile white dark #d7cebc, steel dark #5a6672, tile white light #f9f8f6, steel light #adb3b8, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `cabinetColour` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Cabinet colour" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 0.24 m wide (0.25 m with the bowl handle) × 0.34 m deep × 0.38 m tall. The bowl is 0.24 m across and 0.16 m deep. Origin is at the bottom centre of the foot on y = 0, and the front (beater and nose) faces +Z. The GLB has 1,268 triangles in 16 meshes, merged per part and palette colour. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour. It carries one 6 s clip, 'scene-motion'. The speed lever swings up about its side pivot (X axis). The planetary hub orbits the bowl axis 4 turns while the attachment counter-spins 12 turns about its own shaft, 2 cm off-axis. Both ease to rest, so the loop is seamless. The foot, column, head and bowl never move, and the head's node sits on its hinge pin. Because the exporter runs after a t = 2 s seek, the static node pose in the GLB is mid-mix. Params are baked at export, so the GLB is the default build. cabinetColour steps the body enamel (foot, column and head) along the kit's cabinet ramp: tile white < 0.2 ≤ steel light < 0.4 ≤ steel < 0.6 ≤ steel dark < 0.8 ≤ tomato red. On a red body the red accents turn soot black, and on the two pale bodies the steel light trim turns steel. attachment swaps the flat beater for a balloon whisk or a dough hook; all three clear the bowl wall across the bowlSize range. plan-check's part-id regex rejects the hyphenated slug ids the library requires, so the plan was validated on a de-hyphenated copy (PASS). three-check accepts the hyphenated ids. glb-lint reports 0 errors. Its warnings are expected for this pipeline: non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, nested trims overlapping, the planetary hub flagged as 'detached' because it sits alone in its own moving group, and a 0.38 m height against its 1 m reference.

About the Mixer 3D model

Mixer is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Kitchen set. It measures 26 cm × 38 cm × 35 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,268 triangles across 16 meshes, with 7 named parts and a baked animation (6.0 s). Download the 119 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Mixer 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 119 KB: 1,268 triangles, 3,804 vertices and 16 materials, modelled in metres at 26 cm × 38 cm × 35 cm.
Is Mixer animated?
Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (6.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Mixer 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
