Bridge
A low-poly modular highway overpass: a 24 m two-lane asphalt deck on steel-grey girders, carried by concrete abutments and a three-column central pier, with pale Jersey parapets and a green fascia sign. It snaps end to end on a 1 m grid.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Bridge for the Highway and Roadworks kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It is a modular piece that snaps on a 1 m grid: give it a length in whole metres and put the origin at its snapping end, stated in meta.notes. This is one part of the Highway and Roadworks kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Lanes, junctions and cones. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: asphalt #3b3e45, line white #f4f1ec, cone orange #ed7e1d, sign green #3a883a, asphalt dark #17191c, line white dark #d7cebc, asphalt light #636569, line white light #f9f8f6, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `countryRoadRules` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Country road rules" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 10 m wide × 24 m long × 7.17 m tall. The road surface is at 6.38 m and there is 5 m clear under the girders. Snapping: the origin is the centre of one end at y = 0. The bridge runs from z = 0 to z = -24, so that end faces +Z. Both ends are flat vertical faces with the deck at the same height, so bridges chain end to end. Length is in whole metres and width is in whole metres (6 m for one lane, 10 m for two), and nothing pokes past the footprint, so it snaps on a 1 m grid. To meet a kit ramp, the ramp's top has to be raised to the bridge deck height (6.38 m at the default clearance). The pier count follows the length, so no span runs much past 12 m. Pier columns are 8-sided (flat-lowpoly). The GLB is baked at the default params: 1620 triangles, 14 meshes, static, no animation clip. Every material is named after its kit palette colour, so you can recolour by name. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so some names appear more than once. Country road rules (the kit knob): at 0.5 or below the bridge uses highway rules (concrete Jersey parapets with orange delineators, solid edge lines). Above 0.5 it switches to country rules (dark-wood posts carrying a steel guardrail on a kerb, broken edge lines), which adds the 'dark wood' material. The knob is a switch at 0.5, not a blend. length, clearance and lanes rebuild the geometry in the viewer only; the GLB carries the defaults. glb-lint: 0 errors, 6 heuristic warnings, all expected: duplicate palette materials, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, pilasters and sign borders nested on their faces, deck/girders reported as 'detached' because they rest on parts in other groups, and a height above the direction's 1 m reference because this is a road structure. Plan-check rejects the hyphenated library part ids (its regex allows no hyphen in the first segment), and that is its only complaint: a de-hyphenated copy of the plan passes. three-check and the GLB carry the ids correctly.
About the Bridge 3D model
Bridge is a free low-poly 3D model from the Highway and Roadworks set. It measures 10 m × 7.2 m × 24 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,620 triangles across 14 meshes, with 9 named parts. Download the 147 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Bridge 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 147 KB: 1,620 triangles, 4,836 vertices and 14 materials, modelled in metres at 10 m × 7.2 m × 24 m.
- Can I animate Bridge?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 9 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Bridge 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
