Fountain
A low-poly two-tier park fountain: a round stone basin on a paved step, a central column with two stacked bowls, sheets of water spilling from each bowl and a white jet on top.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Fountain for the City Park kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the City Park kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Green space in the middle of town. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: grass green #3a883a, path beige #d6c5a9, pond blue #2e67b8, iron black #151619, grass green dark #235223, path beige dark #bda375, grass green light #5db15d, path beige light #ede8de, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: about 4.9 m across the paving step x 2.96 m tall to the jet tip at the defaults. The basin is 4.0 m across with its rim at 0.55 m, the bowl lips are at 1.35 m and 2.0 m, and the stone finial tops out at 2.36 m. The origin is the bottom centre, resting on y = 0. The fountain is radially symmetric, so +Z is the front by convention only. The GLB has 3,024 triangles in 10 meshes, one per part, and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. Only 5 of the 12 kit colours are used: stone, water and foam need nothing else. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on more than one material; recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. season (the kit's 'Season') runs from spring (0) to winter (1). Up to 0.7 the fountain runs at full flow. From 0.55, up to 18 fallen leaves (a 'Fallen leaves' part not present at the default) drift on the pool. From 0.7 to 0.95 the jet shrinks and the pool drops, and from about 0.93 the fountain is drained: no streams, foam, jet or bowl water. Below 0.55 nothing changes, so spring and summer look the same. glb-lint: 0 errors and 3 heuristic warnings. One is about duplicate same-colour materials (the per-mesh export). One flags overlapping sibling boxes: the nested basin, pool, column and streams are deliberately embedded joins. The last is a scale warning against a 1 m reference height, but a 2.96 m fountain is the intended real-world size. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 11 survive the GLB reload.
About the Fountain 3D model
Fountain is a free low-poly 3D model from the City Park set. It measures 4.9 m × 3.0 m × 4.9 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,024 triangles across 10 meshes, with 11 named parts. Download the 97 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Fountain 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 97 KB: 3,024 triangles, 2,152 vertices and 10 materials, modelled in metres at 4.9 m × 3.0 m × 4.9 m.
- Can I animate Fountain?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 11 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Fountain 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
