Repair shop
A low-poly Dutch bicycle repair shop: a narrow brick shop house with a stepped gable and hoist beam, a canal-green shopfront under a striped awning and a bicycle-wheel sign. On the pavement apron out front, roadsters are parked in a front-wheel rack, and a bike with its front wheel off is clamped in a repair stand.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Repair shop for the Bicycle City kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Bicycle City kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Streets made for bikes. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: brick red lanes #c32222, canal green #3a883a, bright bike colours #b39d80, cream #f1e7d0, brick red lanes dark #821717, canal green dark #235223, brick red lanes light #db5757, canal green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `bikeColours` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Bike colours" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the shop house is 6.0 m wide (x), 7.9 m deep (z) and 10.12 m tall to the top gable coping, with 6.4 m eaves and a 45° roof. A 9.2 m-wide pavement apron runs 3.4 m in front of it, so the whole model is 9.24 × 10.12 × 11.75 m (x × y × z). The shopfront faces +Z, the origin is at the bottom centre of the whole footprint and the model rests on y = 0. Bikes are 0.75 m wheels on 1.1 m wheelbases. At the default params the GLB has 6,240 triangles in 46 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. With every param at its maximum it is about 6,770. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour, and all 12 kit colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. There is no text, lettering or logo anywhere: the shop sign is a bicycle wheel, and the windows are opaque soot black with no interior. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. bikeColours (the kit's 'Bike colours') gives each bike a fixed threshold. Below it a frame is classic soot black, above it the frame takes a bright kit colour, so 0 means all black and 1 means all six bikes coloured. bikesParked fills 1–5 rack slots, and awning extends the awning from 0.6 m to 1.7 m. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings: material count and duplicate materials (from the per-mesh materials), unindexed geometry (flat shading on purpose), sibling overlap (frames, trims and copings embedded on purpose) and scale (compared with the direction's 1 m reference). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens this library's slug-based ids need. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 13 survive the GLB reload.
About the Repair shop 3D model
Repair shop is a free low-poly 3D model from the Bicycle City set. It measures 9.2 m × 10 m × 12 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 6,240 triangles across 46 meshes, with 13 named parts. Download the 477 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Repair shop 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 477 KB: 6,240 triangles, 18,720 vertices and 46 materials, modelled in metres at 9.2 m × 10 m × 12 m.
- Can I animate Repair shop?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 13 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Repair shop 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
