Old toys
A low-poly cluster of forgotten attic toys: a wooden rocking horse with a dusty amber saddle and cobwebs between its legs, a worn teddy bear, a stack of painted blocks and a tin drum with crossed sticks, about 0.96 × 0.69 m and 0.71 m tall.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Old toys for the Attic and Basement kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Attic and Basement kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Forgotten things above and below. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: dust brown #6b4a2e, cobweb grey #757e8a, bulb amber #ec9c13, faded colours #a6a6a6, dust brown dark #362517, cobweb grey dark #525860, dust brown light #9b704b, cobweb grey light #a3a5a8, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `dustAndCobwebLevel` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Dust and cobweb level" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: about 0.96 m wide (x), 0.69 m deep (z) and 0.71 m tall (the rocking horse is 0.85 m long on its rockers). The origin is at the bottom centre on y = 0, and the front faces +Z (the horse faces +X, so the front view shows it in profile). 2,544 triangles, counted from the GLB; three-check also counts the viewer staging ground, which is not exported. Static: no animation clip. rockAngle rolls the horse along its rockers: the arc stays in contact with y = 0 at every value, and the horse slides x = −1.0·angle as it rolls. blockCount sets the stack height (1–5 blocks); a loose block on the floor is always present. dustAndCobwebLevel sets the size of the dust on the saddle, drum and top block, the number of floor dust patches (0–4) and the number and span of leg-to-rocker cobwebs (1–4); at 0, one small cobweb and the surface dust remain. Both extremes were checked with three-check, and everything still rests on y = 0. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour. three.js's exporter writes one material per mesh, so names repeat. The cobweb film is a translucent (BLEND) material named 'faded colours', the same name as the opaque dust. cobweb grey and cobweb grey dark are not used. glb-lint: 0 errors. Its bounds line reports y down to −0.024, but that is an artefact of rotating the rocked horse's bounding box; transformed vertices measure min y = 0. It also warns on repeated material names, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry and nested sibling parts. plan-check's part-id pattern rejects the hyphenated slug ids the brief requires; the plan passed plan-check with the hyphens removed and is otherwise unchanged.
About the Old toys 3D model
Old toys is a free low-poly 3D model from the Attic and Basement set. It measures 96 cm × 73 cm × 69 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,544 triangles across 24 meshes, with 32 named parts. Download the 202 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Old toys 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 202 KB: 2,544 triangles, 7,632 vertices and 24 materials, modelled in metres at 96 cm × 73 cm × 69 cm.
- Can I animate Old toys?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 32 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Old toys 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
