Diving gear

A low-poly scuba set for aquarium scenes: a coral-orange air tank in a rubber boot, a deep-blue buoyancy jacket with shoulder straps and a buckled waist band, regulator hoses to a mouthpiece and pressure gauge, a dive mask hung on the valve and a pair of fins leaning on the tank.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Diving gear for the Aquarium kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Aquarium kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Glass tunnels through blue water. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: deep blue #1b447e, coral orange #ed7e1d, glow green #3a883a, dark grey #525860, deep blue dark #0d223f, coral orange dark #af590e, deep blue light #2e67b8, coral orange light #eea668, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `seaRegion` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Sea region" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: about 0.57 x 0.73 x 0.68 m (W x H x D) at default params. The tank is 0.66 m tall and 0.184 m across, the valve top is at 0.73 m, and the fins are 0.6 m long. Origin is on the ground (y = 0) at the centre of the tank base, which is the bottom centre of the main mass. The fins lean out to +X, so the bounding box is not centred on the origin. Front faces +Z: the open front of the jacket, the mouthpiece and the gauge. Static model with no animation clip. 2200 triangles in the GLB. seaRegion recolours the tank with palette colours only: below 0.33 is polar (warm white, and the stripe turns deep blue dark), 0.33 to 0.66 is reef (coral orange, the default), and above 0.66 is kelp (glow green). It changes no geometry. tankHeight, tankRadius and finLength change geometry live, but the GLB is baked at the defaults. Short tanks with long fins make the fins lean further so their tips rest on the straight part of the tank. Material names are exactly the palette colour names. The export clones one material per mesh, so the GLB holds 27 materials sharing 9 names (recolour by name). glb-lint reported 0 errors and 5 advisory warnings: material count, duplicate materials, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, deliberate nested overlaps (jacket back embedded in the tank, boot and bands round the tank), and the mask strap flagged as detached. The strap hangs over the valve stem, which lives in a different group. Its verdict word is UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied.

About the Diving gear 3D model

Diving gear is a free low-poly 3D model from the Aquarium set. It measures 57 cm × 73 cm × 68 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,200 triangles across 27 meshes, with 35 named parts. Download the 197 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Diving gear 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 197 KB: 2,200 triangles, 5,113 vertices and 27 materials, modelled in metres at 57 cm × 73 cm × 68 cm.
Can I animate Diving gear?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 35 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Diving gear 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
