Confetti

A white paper wedding confetti cone with a blush band and gold rim, standing in a dark-wood stand and throwing a looping burst of hearts, petals and paper flakes. Low-poly, flat-shaded and animated on a seamless 6-second loop.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Confetti for the Wedding Venue kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Wedding Venue kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A garden ceremony and a party. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, blush pink #e085a3, sage #89a178, gold #d0a225, white dark #d7cebc, blush pink dark #d14775, white light #f9f8f6, blush pink light #eec4d2, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `colourScheme` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Colour scheme" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the cone and stand are 0.31 m tall on a 0.17 m wide octagonal base (about 0.2 m of paper cone, 0.12 m mouth). The burst fans out to about 0.6 m tall and 0.5 m wide, and fallen flakes lie on the floor within 0.22 m of the centre. Flakes are about 3-4 cm, a little larger than real confetti so they read at thumbnail size. Motion: one 6 s seamless baked clip (scene-motion). Each burst flake is a rigid node that rotates about its own centre and scales to zero at the start and end of its life, so pieces appear inside the heaped cone mouth and shrink away as they drift down. The stand, cone and fill never move. Every material is named after its exact kit palette colour. The runtime exports one material copy per mesh (73 materials sharing 7 names), so recolour by material name, not by material index. Part ids use the prefix 'weddingvenueconfetti.' because the kit's part-id grammar does not allow hyphens in the root segment. Colour scheme changes the model itself: 0 is ivory and gold, 0.5 a garden mix of blush, sage and gold, 1 all blush; it also recolours the cone band and the heaped fill. glb-lint reported 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings (duplicate per-mesh materials, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, intentional nesting of band/rim/fill on the cone, and airborne flakes flagged as detached). Its overall verdict is UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied.

About the Confetti 3D model

Confetti is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Wedding Venue set. It measures 40 cm × 54 cm × 42 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,330 triangles across 73 meshes, with 13 named parts and a baked animation (6.0 s). Download the 646 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Confetti 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 646 KB: 2,330 triangles, 5,746 vertices and 73 materials, modelled in metres at 40 cm × 54 cm × 42 cm.
Is Confetti animated?
Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (6.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Confetti 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
