Sports hall
A low-poly cutaway sports hall: a court-blue basketball and volleyball court under energy-orange steel portal frames, with a half-covered roof, clerestory windows, bleachers, hoops and a net. Part of the Sports Centre kit.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Sports hall for the Sports Centre kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Sports Centre kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Courts, pool and gym. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: court blue #2e67b8, wood #7d5736, white #f4f1ec, energy orange #ed7e1d, court blue dark #1f457a, wood dark #47321f, court blue light #6190d1, wood light #ac7d53, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `sportOnCourt` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Sport on court" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 35.4 m long (x) by 21.6 m deep (z) by 10.47 m to the ridge cap, at the default 34 m by 20.4 m interior with a 7.6 m clear height to the eaves. The court is a 28 x 15 m basketball court with an 18 x 9 m volleyball court on top. Front faces +Z, origin is at the bottom centre and the plinth rests on y = 0. It is built as a cutaway: the front (+Z) and east (+X) walls stop at 1.2 m, and only the back roof slope is covered, so the court shows from the front, the sides and above. From behind it reads as a closed building. 3,620 triangles in the default GLB (about 4,700 at the largest settings), 15 meshes, no textures and no animation (static). Every face has a baked flat normal, so the geometry is non-indexed and stays faceted in any engine. Materials are named exactly after 10 of the 12 kit palette colours (wood dark and dark wood are unused). The exporter writes one material per mesh primitive, so a colour name appears more than once (42 material slots): recolour by name. Each part is one mesh with one primitive per colour, named with the library id sports-centre-sports-hall.<part> (also in extras.partId). The three grouping nodes are named sportshall.structure, sportshall.court and sportshall.equipment because the kit's plan checker does not allow hyphens in plan part ids. sportOnCourt (the kit's 'Sport on court' knob) sets how much equipment is out: 0 leaves only the two hoops, 0.2 or more adds two team benches, 0.35 or more puts up the volleyball net, the ball count is round(8 x value), and 0.75 or more adds a ball cart. When an item is absent, its part (net, or the balls and benches part) is left out of the export. Changing hallLength changes the number of frame bays, from 5 to 6. Court line widths are 0.1 m, wider than real lines, so they read at thumbnail size. Viewer-only staging, not in the GLB: the direction's ground disc, exposure 0.72 instead of 1.05 so the mid tones do not wash out, and a sun with a wider shadow frustum moved to fit a building this size. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 4 warnings: material count and duplicate materials, both from the exporter's one-material-per-primitive output; overlapping part boxes from walls, frames and floor that are meant to nest; and a 10.5 m height against the direction's 1 m reference prop size. Its overall verdict is UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied.
About the Sports hall 3D model
Sports hall is a free low-poly 3D model from the Sports Centre set. It measures 36 m × 10 m × 22 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,620 triangles across 42 meshes, with 19 named parts. Download the 302 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Sports hall 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 302 KB: 3,620 triangles, 27,840 vertices and 42 materials, modelled in metres at 36 m × 10 m × 22 m.
- Can I animate Sports hall?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 19 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Sports hall 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
