Mats
A low-poly stack of three folding gym panel mats in court blue and energy orange, each Z-folded into a block with rounded fold loops and black carry straps. A strapped, rolled exercise mat lies across the top.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Mats for the Sports Centre kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Sports Centre kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Courts, pool and gym. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: court blue #2e67b8, wood #7d5736, white #f4f1ec, energy orange #ed7e1d, court blue dark #1f457a, wood dark #47321f, court blue light #6190d1, wood light #ac7d53, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `sportOnCourt` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Sport on court" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: each folded mat is a 1.2 × 2.4 m mat of four 0.6 m × 5 cm foam panels, Z-folded into a 1.2 m (X) × 0.6 m (Z) × 0.2 m block. The default stack of three is 0.60 m high, and 0.75 m to the top of the rolled exercise mat (0.62 m wide, about 15 cm across). The footprint is about 1.27 × 0.66 m including the carry straps. The origin is at the bottom centre with the bottom mat resting on y = 0, and the front faces +Z (the roll's unrolled tail points forward). The exported model has 1140 triangles in 9 meshes. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour; 4 of the 12 colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. The model is static, with no animation clip. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. sportOnCourt (the kit's 'Sport on court') sets the share of stacked mats in energy orange, alternating from the second mat up: at the default 0.5 the three mats are blue, orange, blue. The roll takes whichever of blue and orange the top mat does not use. matCount (1–5) changes the number of mats, so per-mat part ids exist only for the mats present. panels (2–6) changes how many layers each folded mat has. messiness twists and offsets the mats from a fixed seed, so the same value always gives the same stack. Only the default parameters were captured and checked; the other values are valid by construction (each mat rests exactly on the one below) but no screenshots were taken of them. three-check: PASS, 24 of 24. glb-lint: 0 errors and 3 warnings. The first is about duplicate materials, caused by the per-mesh materials. The second flags non-indexed geometry, which is deliberate flat shading. The third flags sibling bounding-box overlap, because the straps are seated against their mat's end faces. Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires.
About the Mats 3D model
Mats is a free low-poly 3D model from the Sports Centre set. It measures 1.3 m × 75 cm × 64 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,140 triangles across 9 meshes, with 5 named parts. Download the 89 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Mats 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 89 KB: 1,140 triangles, 3,420 vertices and 9 materials, modelled in metres at 1.3 m × 75 cm × 64 cm.
- Can I animate Mats?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 5 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Mats 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
