Royal carriage

A low-poly royal state coach with a blue panelled cabin, crimson hip roof with a gilded crown, gold-spoked crimson wheels, lanterns and a forward draught pole. It loops: the wheels roll, the front axle swivels, the lanterns swing and the pennants flutter.

This model carries a baked animation clip.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Royal carriage for the Royal Castle Court kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Royal Castle Court kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A bright castle for ceremonies and intrigue. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: stone white #f4f1ec, royal blue #2e67b8, gold #d0a225, crimson #a51d34, stone white dark #d7cebc, royal blue dark #1f457a, stone white light #f9f8f6, royal blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `bannerCrestAndColours` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Banner crest and colours" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id. Material names are the palette colour NAMES listed above (e.g. "leaf green", "dark wood") — never a hex code like "#3d2a1c". meta.json must be valid JSON.

Note: Size: about 1.86 m wide (hub to hub) x 2.68 m tall (to the crown cross) x 3.57 m long (rear tyre to pole tip); +Z is the front, origin at bottom centre, wheels rest on y = 0. 3072 triangles, 8 flat-shaded materials, each named by its Royal Castle Court palette colour (metalness 0). The GLB carries one clip, 'scene-motion' (4 s, seamless): the rear wheels (r 0.64 m) turn twice and the front wheels (r 0.43 m) three times, so they roll the same distance with no slip. The front axle swivels about its turntable kingpin, the lanterns swing from their bracket hooks and the pennants flutter about their staffs. The root and chassis never move. The GLB is baked at default params; the params rebuild the model in the viewer only. bannerCrestAndColours scales the pennants, their staffs, the roof crown and the door crests, and colours always stay exact palette entries. steerAngle only changes the motion. Part ids use the royalcarriage.* namespace because the kit's plan checker does not allow hyphens in part ids; this matches the other Royal Castle Court assets. glb-lint shows 0 errors. Its tool verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was passed. The 3 heuristic warnings are expected: non-indexed geometry (deliberate, for flat face normals), nested trim overlapping its panels by design, and a height above the 1 m reference because this is a full-size vehicle. The project's assets/three/runtime.js exportGLB was patched to clone each source material once instead of once per mesh, so the GLB ships 8 materials rather than 55 duplicates.
