Paved lane tiles
A low-poly 4 × 4 m tile of night-market lane: chamfered grey pavers in a running bond, a grated drain channel down the middle, yellow painted pitch lines marking the stall frontage and red cuisine-marker inlays. Its edges are flat and its joints, drain and markings line up across borders, so copies tile seamlessly in every direction.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Paved lane tiles for the Night Market kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. Make it a ground piece on an exact 4 × 4 m footprint with flat edges at y = 0 that tile seamlessly with its neighbours in every direction; origin at the tile centre. This is one part of the Night Market kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Food stalls under string lights. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: warm red #d0253c, yellow #eecd2b, charcoal #34383d, teal #2d8686, warm red dark #8f1929, yellow dark #bda00f, warm red light #de6374, yellow light #f0db75, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `cuisineAndSignText` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Cuisine and sign text" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: exactly 4.00 × 4.00 m footprint and 0.12 m tall. The walking surface is at 0.10 m, with paint and plaques up to 0.118 m. The origin is at the tile centre and the bottom rests on y = 0; the lane and drain run along Z and the front faces +Z. How it tiles: the soot-black bedding fills the whole footprint. Paver courses (along Z) and paver lengths (along X, running bond) divide 4 m, and edge pavers are inset by half a joint, so neighbouring tiles share one full joint and the cut halves at each X edge pair up into whole pavers. The drain rails run edge to edge, grate bars repeat every 0.1 m and pitch dashes every 1 m. Pavers touching the border never sink, so all edges are flat at 0.10 m. The GLB has 3,364 triangles in 8 meshes, is static and has no animation clip. Every material is named after its kit palette colour, so you can recolour by name. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so 'charcoal' appears twice (worn pavers and drain). Only 7 of the 12 kit colours are used, because a ground tile needs no wood, teal or light accents. The GLB is baked at the default params, and only the defaults were rendered and checked. cuisineAndSignText (the kit's 'Cuisine and sign text') sets the length of the painted pitch dashes (0.3–0.9 m) and the number of inlaid cuisine-marker plaques (0–8; 4 at default). There is no lettering: the markers are modelled red inlays with a yellow diamond. courses, paversAcross and wear rebuild the paving in the viewer only. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings, all expected: duplicate 'charcoal' material; non-indexed flat-shaded geometry; overlapping bounding boxes of the merged paver and plaque meshes; paint and drain register as 'detached' because they sit on the pavers or are seated into the bedding rather than reaching y = 0; and height below the direction's 1 m reference, because this is a ground tile. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids (its regex allows no hyphen); three-check and the GLB carry all 6 ids correctly.
About the Paved lane tiles 3D model
Paved lane tiles is a free low-poly 3D model from the Night Market set. It measures 4.0 m × 12 cm × 4.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,364 triangles across 8 meshes, with 6 named parts. Download the 263 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Paved lane tiles 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 263 KB: 3,364 triangles, 10,080 vertices and 8 materials, modelled in metres at 4.0 m × 12 cm × 4.0 m.
- Can I animate Paved lane tiles?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 6 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Paved lane tiles 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
