Tiled wall
A low-poly 4 × 4 m kitchen ground piece: a chequered tile floor with a white subway-tiled wall along the back, a red feature tile course, steel skirting and cap, a utensil rail with a pan, ladle and spatula, and a butcher-block shelf.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Tiled wall for the Kitchen kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. Make it a ground piece on an exact 4 × 4 m footprint with flat edges at y = 0 that tile seamlessly with its neighbours in every direction; origin at the tile centre. This is one part of the Kitchen kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A full working kitchen. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: tile white #f4f1ec, steel #7e8c9a, butcher-block wood #7d5736, tomato red #c32222, tile white dark #d7cebc, steel dark #5a6672, tile white light #f9f8f6, steel light #adb3b8, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `cabinetColour` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Cabinet colour" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: an exact 4 × 4 m footprint (x and z from −2 to 2), origin at the tile centre on y = 0. The model is 2.625 m tall: a 2.6 m tiled wall plus its steel cap. The wall stands along the back edge (z −2 to −1.85) and faces +Z. A 3 cm floor slab covers the whole footprint with flat vertical edges from y = 0, and the floor tiles keep half a grout gap at each edge. The floor chequer count is always even and the wall's running bond is cut flush at x = ±2, so neighbours tile in every direction and wall runs continue left and right. The GLB has 4,264 triangles in 23 meshes, is static and has no animation clip. three-check's 4,554 figure also counts the viewer's staging ground, which is not exported. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and all 12 colours are used. glb-lint lists 23 materials because the exporter writes one per mesh; they share the 12 palette names. cabinetColour (the kit's 'Cabinet colour') sets the colour of the feature tile course in five steps: steel, steel dark, tomato red (default), butcher-block wood, dark wood. To recolour it in an engine, change the material named 'tomato red' on the feature_course mesh. The tin also uses that material, so it recolours with the course. wallHeight, tileLength and floorTiles rebuild the piece in the viewer. The GLB is baked at the defaults, and only the defaults were rendered and checked. glb-lint: 0 errors, with 6 expected warnings: per-mesh materials over the direction's limit of 10, duplicate palette names, non-indexed (flat-shaded) geometry, tiles nested on their slab or grout bed, shelf and rail items flagged as 'detached' because they are mounted on the wall rather than on a sibling, and a height above the direction's 1 m reference. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphens; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 7 planned ids. Fix rounds: (1) darker steel-light grout so the subway tiles read, a softer tile-white floor chequer so the floor no longer upstages the wall, and bigger utensils, with the gap between pan and handle closed; (2–3) hero framing. The back of the wall is plain warm-white plaster.
About the Tiled wall 3D model
Tiled wall is a free low-poly 3D model from the Kitchen set. It measures 4.0 m × 2.6 m × 4.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,264 triangles across 23 meshes, with 28 named parts. Download the 320 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Tiled wall 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 320 KB: 4,264 triangles, 12,792 vertices and 23 materials, modelled in metres at 4.0 m × 2.6 m × 4.0 m.
- Can I animate Tiled wall?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 28 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Tiled wall 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
