Plank walkways

A 4 m run of uneven scrap planks laid over two stringers and three trestle pairs, with sagging rope handrails on both sides and a crooked lantern post carrying one warm lantern at the free end. Moss, a barrel, strapped crates and a coiled rope sit on the deck. Flat-shaded low-poly, Goblin Market palette.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Plank walkways for the Goblin Market kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It is a modular piece that snaps on a 1 m grid: give it a length in whole metres and put the origin at its snapping end, stated in meta.notes. This is one part of the Goblin Market kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A chaotic night market of scrap stalls. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: mud brown #6b4a2e, sickly green #528952, rust #9b4427, lantern orange #ed7e1d, mud brown dark #362517, sickly green dark #365936, mud brown light #9b704b, sickly green light #7ea97e, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `clutterAmount` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Clutter amount" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id. Material names are the palette colour NAMES listed above (e.g. "leaf green", "dark wood") — never a hex code like "#3d2a1c". meta.json must be valid JSON.

Note: Whole-metre length: the module runs 4 m along +Z, origin at the bottom centre of the snapping end (0, 0, 0) so abutting modules line up; the free end faces +Z. Bounding size 1.31 x 1.84 x 4.03 m (ragged plank overhang included), deck top at 0.4 m, rope rail at 0.72 m above deck, lantern post to 1.84 m. 18 uneven crosswise planks, two stringers, two rim joists, three transverse ties, six trestle posts with knee braces, six rail posts, four swagged rope spans. Materials are flat-shaded MeshStandardMaterials named by Goblin Market palette colour (metalness 0, roughness 0.9–1.0), no textures, 10 colour roles. Params regenerate the geometry in the viewer; clutterAmount 0.1 adds the rope coil, 0.3 a strapped crate, 0.5 a banded barrel, 0.7 a second stacked crate, 0.85 two hung gourds. Static asset — evaluatePose is a no-op, the scene block declares motionRest: 0 and the GLB carries 0 animation clips by design. Exported bounds sit on y = 0 (minY -0.0006 m, moss tuft tessellation). The ground disc, lighting and controls in the viewer are staging and are not part of the exported GLB. glb-lint ran WITH the quality requirements contract (revision written by quality-sync) and passed with 0 blocking errors; the remaining warnings are heuristic — 67 per-mesh material copies are the runtime's export cloning of the 10 roles, 3 sibling pairs are the proud crate straps and trestle posts flanking the plank overhangs, and 17 "detached parts" are the ropes, moss strips and lantern pieces that intentionally rest on or hang from other parts.
