Banners

A carved elven banner standard for a treetop settlement: a hexagonal timber post on a footed plinth carries a spear-tipped crossbar, and a leaf-green banner with a silver hem, a stepped-pine emblem and gold tassels hangs forward of the post on two cords. Built as deliberate flat-shaded facets, 1536 triangles, no textures.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Banners for the Elven Treetop City kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Elven Treetop City kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Platforms and bridges high in giant trees. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: leaf green #3a883a, silver #b9bfc6, bark brown #6b4a2e, soft gold #cfaf59, leaf green dark #235223, silver dark #8f99a3, leaf green light #5db15d, silver light #e4e6e7, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Metres, +Y up, front faces +Z, origin at the bottom centre with the footing on y = 0; overall size 1.36 x 2.16 x 0.41 m. Static — the GLB carries no animation clip. Every material is named with the Elven Treetop City palette colour NAME it paints — leaf green, bark brown, dark wood, soot black, silver light, leaf green light, silver, soft gold — never a hex, and exactly one shared material instance is authored per name, so a name-based recolour hits every surface. The exporter's frozen snapshot writes one material entry per mesh, so those 8 names repeat across 30 entries in the file. `season` is the kit knob: it picks one of three named accent colours for the emblem, finials and tassels (silver dark #8f99a3 below 0.34, soft gold #cfaf59 to 0.67, mid grey #7d828c above) and grows the carved leaf facets on the post cap and the emblem canopy — 0 leaves at season 0, so the emblem reads bare. Nothing is lerped, which is why every colour keeps its palette name. Part ids use the `banners.` root rather than the `elven-treetop-city-banners.` prefix because the kit's plan validator rejects hyphens in part ids; the library slug provides the namespacing.
