Rolling coins

A dragon's hoard: a heap of gold coins with a goblet and gems on a dark faceted rock, with a stream of gold coins rolling on edge down the slope and spiralling out across the floor to rest in a drift.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Rolling coins for the Dragon's Hoard Cavern kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Dragon's Hoard Cavern kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A vast cave piled with treasure. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: gold #d0a225, ruby red #c32222, obsidian #17161d, cave blue #2e67b8, gold dark #8f7019, ruby red dark #821717, gold light #debd63, ruby red light #db5757, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `dragonColourAndSize` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Dragon colour and size" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Believable hoard scale: ~0.79 m footprint, ~0.48 m tall, oversized hoard coins Ø0.084 m at default. Seamless 6 s loop: 11 gold coins each ease along one shared spiral path (fast off the heap, decelerating to the drift) and spin on their own axles by exactly distance / radius, so the roll is true; the loop seam is hidden as a coin grows out of the heap and shrinks into the drift. The dark rock, the gold heap and the resting drift never move. dragonColourAndSize (0-1) picks the accent colourway (cave blue / ruby red / warm white), scales the coins 0.85-1.15x and re-seats the roll; coinCount 8-12, coinOrbit 0.8-1.2 spreads the floor spiral, wobble 0-1 adds a bank sway. Part ids use the hyphen-free transliteration 'dragonshoardcavernrollingcoins' because the part-id grammar allows no hyphens. Material names equal the kit palette colour names so the kit recolours the GLB as one set. glb-lint warnings are heuristic only: the exporter clones the shared palette materials per mesh, and coins nested in the heap/drift trip the sibling-overlap check by design.
