Buffet tables
A low-poly cruise ship lido buffet line: skirted pool-blue tables under a white, coral-hemmed cloth, with domed chafing dishes, heaped food platters, plate stacks and a sneeze-guard shelf of fruit bowls. Static and game-ready, part of the Cruise Ship Deck kit.

Left rail: colours and the 3 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Buffet tables for the Cruise Ship Deck kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Cruise Ship Deck kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A floating holiday. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, teak #815731, pool blue #2e67b8, sunset coral #e2715a, white dark #d7cebc, teak dark #4a311c, white light #f9f8f6, teak light #b37c4d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `shipLength` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Ship length" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at defaults: 4.58 m long (X) × 0.88 m deep (Z) × 1.63 m tall to the fruit on the gantry shelf; the cloth top is at 0.90 m. Three 1.5 m tables are butted end to end. The guest side faces +Z, the plate stacks sit at the −X start of the line, the origin is at the bottom centre and the model rests on y = 0. The GLB has 3,600 triangles in 24 meshes and no animation clip; it is a static asset. At the extremes it has about 5,160 triangles (4 tables, 4 dishes each) and about 2,390 (2 tables, 2 dishes each). shipLength sets the table count: 2 tables at 0, 3 at 0.5 and 4 at 1, so the line runs 3.0 to 6.0 m. dishesPerTable alternates closed chafers and open platters. Food and fruit colours are seeded and fixed. It uses 9 of the 12 kit colours, and each material is named after its palette colour. There is no glass sneeze pane, because the kit palette has no glass colour. glb-lint reported 0 errors; its warnings are heuristics: repeated material entries per mesh, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry and intended nesting. plan-check.mjs's part-id regex rejects the hyphenated slug ids, so the plan was verified as a de-hyphenated copy (PASS). three-check accepts the real ids.
About the Buffet tables 3D model
Buffet tables is a free low-poly 3D model from the Cruise Ship Deck set. It measures 4.6 m × 1.6 m × 88 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,600 triangles across 24 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 274 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Buffet tables 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 274 KB: 3,600 triangles, 10,800 vertices and 24 materials, modelled in metres at 4.6 m × 1.6 m × 88 cm.
- Can I animate Buffet tables?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Buffet tables 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
