Trapeze swing
A low-poly freestanding circus trapeze rig: two striped A-frame ends on wooden skids hold a midnight-blue crossbeam, and a taped trapeze bar hangs on two manila ropes from gold swivel hangers. A 3-second seamless loop swings the ropes and bar out and back while the frame stays still.

Left rail: colours and the 5 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Trapeze swing for the Circus kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Circus kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): The big top comes to town. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: red and white stripes #f4f1ec, gold #d0a225, midnight blue #123464, red and white stripes dark #d7cebc, gold dark #8f7019, red and white stripes light #f9f8f6, gold light #debd63, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `stripeColours` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Stripe colours" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at default params: 2.26 m wide (crossbeam), 3.19 m tall (top of the finial balls; the crossbeam top is at 3.0 m) and 2.19 m deep (skid length). The bar is 0.8 m between the ropes and hangs about 1.0 m above the floor on 1.8 m ropes. The origin is at the bottom centre, the model rests on y = 0, and the bar swings toward the front (+Z) and back. The GLB has 1,836 triangles in 16 meshes. Animation clip 'scene-motion' runs 3 s and is seamless (a sine of the loop phase). The ropes and bar swing ±30° as one pendulum about the hanger pin axis, so the gold rope eyes turn on the pins. The bar also rolls a little on its own axis inside the gold rope collars. The A-frames, skids, crossbeam and hanger brackets never move. stripeColours (the kit's 'Stripe colours') picks the colour that alternates with 'red and white stripes' on the A-frame legs: gold below 0.33, midnight blue from 0.33 to 0.67 (the default), and 'red and white stripes dark' above 0.67. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and 8 of the 11 colours are used at the defaults. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so names repeat: recolour by name. The GLB is baked at the default params; the params only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Rope length is capped so the bar never hangs lower than 0.9 m (at a 2.6 m frame the most it allows is about 1.48 m). Both extremes passed three-check (3.6 m frame / 2.4 m ropes / 1.0 m bar / 45° / stripes 1, and 2.6 m frame / 1.0 m ropes / 0.6 m bar / 10° / stripes 0). glb-lint gives 0 errors. Its warnings are expected heuristics: material count and duplicate names from one material per mesh, non-indexed geometry for flat facets, nested parts, and the 3.2 m height compared with the direction's 1 m reference. Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check rejects only the hyphen in the slug-based part ids this library requires, because its id regex allows no hyphen. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. Fix rounds: (1) the hero was reframed so the front foot is no longer cropped, the ropes were made thicker and manila-coloured so the swing reads against the pale backdrop, the bar was made thicker, the frame span was narrowed and the apex gussets slimmed; (2) the front and side views were loosened so the skids clear the frame edge.
About the Trapeze swing 3D model
Trapeze swing is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Circus set. It measures 2.3 m × 3.2 m × 2.2 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,836 triangles across 16 meshes, with 6 named parts and a baked animation (3.0 s). Download the 153 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Trapeze swing 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 153 KB: 1,836 triangles, 5,508 vertices and 16 materials, modelled in metres at 2.3 m × 3.2 m × 2.2 m.
- Is Trapeze swing animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (3.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Trapeze swing 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
