Shower cubicle

A low-poly corner shower cubicle with mint-tiled walls, a chrome-framed glass door and side panel, and a white tray with a linear drain and a dark-wood duckboard. Inside are a mixer bar with an overhead rain head and a corner shelf with soap, and a towel hangs over the glass.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Shower cubicle for the Bathroom and Laundry kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Bathroom and Laundry kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Tiles, steam and soap. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: mint #90d5b3, white #f4f1ec, chrome #cad1d8, soft grey #999999, mint dark #59c08c, white dark #d7cebc, mint light #c9e8d9, white light #f9f8f6, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `tileColour` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Tile colour" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 0.90 m wide × 0.90 m deep × 2.11 m tall (walls 2.10 m plus a 12 mm chrome cap; the glass enclosure is 2.00 m tall; the tray rim is at 0.065 m). The origin is at the bottom centre on y = 0, and the door side faces +Z. The tiled walls are on the back (−Z) and left (−X), and both faces of each wall are tiled, so the cubicle can stand in a corner or on its own. With the door 15% open its free edge swings about 0.2 m past the front edge. The GLB has 3,380 triangles in 21 meshes (merged per part and palette colour) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour; 9 of the 12 kit colours appear at the default settings. The glass is the only 'mint light' material: alpha-blended at 0.32 opacity, double-sided. Params are baked at export, so the GLB is the default build. tileColour sets every wall tile in 5 steps: white light below 0.2, warm white up to 0.4, mint (the default) up to 0.6, mint dark up to 0.8, and soft grey from 0.8. At the mint dark step, the shampoo bottle, mixer knobs and towel stripes blend into the tiles. width and depth resize the footprint and re-fit the tile grid. doorOpen swings the door outward from 0 to 90°. No steam: translucent puffs read as grey stones in this style. plan-check's part-id regex rejects the hyphenated slug ids the library requires, so the plan was checked on a de-hyphenated copy, which passed. three-check accepts the hyphenated ids. glb-lint reports 0 errors. Its warnings are expected for this pipeline: per-part material instances, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, nested parts overlapping, and a 2.1 m height against the 1 m reference.

About the Shower cubicle 3D model

Shower cubicle is a free low-poly 3D model from the Bathroom and Laundry set. It measures 92 cm × 2.1 m × 1.1 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,380 triangles across 21 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 256 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Shower cubicle 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 256 KB: 3,380 triangles, 10,140 vertices and 21 materials, modelled in metres at 92 cm × 2.1 m × 1.1 m.
Can I animate Shower cubicle?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Shower cubicle 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
