Fountain

A low-poly two-tier garden ceremony fountain in pale stone: a round basin on a low plinth, two bowls with gold lip bands, water sheets falling into the pool, and a spinning gold crown jet on top. Blush flower clusters and sage swags dress the rim.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Fountain for the Wedding Venue kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Wedding Venue kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A garden ceremony and a party. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, blush pink #e085a3, sage #89a178, gold #d0a225, white dark #d7cebc, blush pink dark #d14775, white light #f9f8f6, blush pink light #eec4d2, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `colourScheme` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Colour scheme" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at the defaults: 3.0 m across the plinth and 2.6 m across the basin. The rim cap is at 0.57 m, the bowl lips are at 1.15 m and 1.68 m, and the top jet peaks at 2.26 m. Units are metres; the origin is the bottom centre, resting on y = 0, and the fountain is radially symmetric with a flat facet facing +Z. The baked clip 'scene-motion' is an 8 s seamless loop. The gold crown and its six spiral arcs make exactly one turn about the vertical axis, pivoting at the finial top. The top jet scales from its nozzle, pulsing twice. Three ripple rings spread across the pool, twice each, rising out of the water at the start of each cycle and sinking back at the end so the wrap is hidden. The plinth, basin, columns, bowls, streams and dressing never move. The GLB's static node pose is the frame the exporter captured, with the jet at its lowest (2.15 m); the clip reaches 2.26 m. The GLB has 6,276 triangles. Every material is flat-shaded, metalness 0, no textures, and named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same palette names repeat; recolour by name. Water uses mid grey because the kit palette has no blue. colourScheme (the kit's 'Colour scheme') only recolours the flowers: below 0.33 it is ivory and sage (white light and white), 0.33-0.67 is blush (blush pink with blush pink light, the default), and above 0.67 is rose (blush pink dark with blush pink). Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults; changing one rebuilds the geometry in the viewer only. Extremes were checked: tiers 3 with a 2.2 m basin and 0.6 m jet gives 7,286 triangles, and tiers 1 with a 3.2 m basin gives 5,006 triangles; both pass three-check. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings, all by design. Repeated same-colour materials come from the per-mesh export. Non-indexed primitives are the flat facets. Sibling overlaps are the deliberately embedded joins: the pool in the basin, columns in the bowls, and streams entering the water. The 2.15 m height is the intended real-world scale, not a unit error. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. The viewer replaces the direction's ground disc with a shadow catcher (declared override). This is staging only and is not part of the GLB.

About the Fountain 3D model

Fountain is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Wedding Venue set. It measures 3.5 m × 2.1 m × 3.5 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 6,276 triangles across 21 meshes, with 21 named parts and a baked animation (8.0 s). Download the 510 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Fountain 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 510 KB: 6,276 triangles, 18,828 vertices and 21 materials, modelled in metres at 3.5 m × 2.1 m × 3.5 m.
Is Fountain animated?
Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (8.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Fountain 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
