Palisade

A flat-lowpoly palisade wall section for a siege camp: a run of sharpened upright logs bound by rails and rope lashings, braced at the back, planted in an earth berm with forward-raked defense spikes and faded-red army markings.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Palisade for the Siege Camp kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Siege Camp kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): An army camped outside the walls. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: canvas tan #bf9769, mud #634d36, steel #7e8c9a, faded red #c05959, canvas tan dark #9a7142, mud dark #32261b, canvas tan light #d2bca2, mud light #8f7356, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `armyColours` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Army colours" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Real-world scale: ~6.0 m wall section, ~3.0 m to the stake points, ~3.9 m to the pennant tips; berm ~7.3 m long. 1974 triangles in the exported GLB. Static asset — no animation clip. Origin at bottom centre; stakes and braces bite a few cm below their nominal base so they read as planted. armyColours strikes the heraldry to canvas tan dark below ~0.45 and removes stake bands at 0; pennant length scales with it. Every material is named exactly after a Siege Camp palette colour so the kit can recolour by name (the runtime exporter emits one material record per mesh, all identically named — that is why glb-lint counts 15 records of 8 named colours). glb-lint heuristic notes reviewed: band/lashing 'overlaps' are intended rope wraps; pennants intersect their poles; the ~4 m height is deliberate real-world scale. GLB scope is the model only — the light grey presentation disc in previews is viewer staging.
