Steamers

A low-poly dumpling steamer station: a stack of 12-sided bamboo steamer baskets with a domed lid and a puff of steam, sitting on a steel steam pot over a gas-ring stand with flame tips. A small red cuisine sign hangs off the pot lip.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Steamers for the Night Market kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Night Market kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Food stalls under string lights. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: warm red #d0253c, yellow #eecd2b, charcoal #34383d, teal #2d8686, warm red dark #8f1929, yellow dark #bda00f, warm red light #de6374, yellow light #f0db75, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `cuisineAndSignText` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Cuisine and sign text" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: about 0.75 m wide (across the pot handles) × 0.64 m deep × 1.09 m tall with steam; the bamboo baskets are 0.5 m across and the lid knob tops out near 0.86 m. The origin is the bottom centre, resting on y = 0, and the front (sign, gas valve) faces +Z. The GLB has 1,615 triangles across 21 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and all 12 colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on several materials: recolour by name. The yellow material has a mild emissive so the flame tips look lit (it also lifts the lid dome and glyph bars slightly). Steam is stylised opaque faceted puffs touching the lid knob. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. cuisineAndSignText (the kit's 'Cuisine and sign text') sets the hanging sign's width (0.14–0.32 m) and how many abstract glyph bars it carries; the sign has no real letters. steam sets how many puffs appear (0 = none; above ~0.8 wisps also escape at the lid rim). glb-lint: 0 errors and 4 warnings: material count and duplicates (both from the per-mesh materials), and two heuristics that flag the deliberate joins (flames in the burner, steam on the knob, lid rim on the baskets, glyphs on the sign plate, valve on its pipe). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; three-check accepts those ids and all 7 survive the GLB reload.

About the Steamers 3D model

Steamers is a free low-poly 3D model from the Night Market set. It measures 75 cm × 1.1 m × 64 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,615 triangles across 21 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 76 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Steamers 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 76 KB: 1,615 triangles, 1,887 vertices and 21 materials, modelled in metres at 75 cm × 1.1 m × 64 cm.
Can I animate Steamers?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 7 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Steamers 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
