How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Stacked apartments for the Cyberpunk Alley kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Cyberpunk Alley kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A rain-soaked back street under neon. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: black #151619, neon pink #f994b6, cyan #20c6df, sodium yellow #eecd2b, black dark #090a0b, neon pink dark #f64c84, black light #3a3c40, neon pink light #fcdee8, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `neonColours` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Neon colours" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Default size about 8.3 m wide (x, fire escape included) × 21.4 m tall (antenna top; roof deck at 15.8 m) × 7.9 m deep (z, blade sign included); the ground-floor footprint is 7 × 6 m. The origin is the bottom centre of that ground-floor footprint, so the fire escape on +X makes the bounding box slightly off-centre. Static model with no animation clip. Lit windows and neon are emissive (KHR_materials_emissive_strength), so they glow in engines that support it. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material copy per mesh (35 materials, 11 unique names), so recolour by name rather than by material index. neonColours sets each neon element to cyan or neon pink against a fixed per-element threshold: 0 is all pink, 1 is all cyan, 0.5 is a mix (sign outlines cyan, sign bars pink). The downloaded GLB reflects the default values. glb-lint reports 0 errors; its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. It also gives non-blocking warnings: material count, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, nested sibling bounds and scale versus the 1 m direction reference. The viewer's darker exposure and ground disc are staging only and are not in the GLB.
